Aluminium Casting Scrap Shreader For Scrap Aluminum Recycling
A scrap aluminum shredder is a mechanical device specifically designed for crushing and shredding scrap aluminum materials and is widely used in the recycling and processing of scrap aluminum.
A scrap aluminum shredder primarily shreds aluminum through the rotation and shearing force of its blades. A motor drives the main shaft, which rotates at high speed with it. Once the scrap aluminum enters the shredding chamber, it is sheared, squeezed, and torn by the rotating blades, breaking it into relatively uniformly sized pieces.
Advantages
• High shredding efficiency: This system can quickly break large pieces of aluminum scrap into smaller pieces, significantly improving the efficiency of subsequent processing steps.
• High Processing Capacity: Can accommodate scrap aluminum processing needs of varying specifications and quantities, meeting the requirements of large-scale scrap aluminum recycling.
• Excellent Crushing: Can crush scrap aluminum into uniform particles, facilitating subsequent smelting and reprocessing, thereby increasing the recycling rate of scrap aluminum.
• High Degree of Automation: Some advanced scrap aluminum shredders are equipped with automated control systems, enabling automatic feeding, crushing, and discharging, reducing manual operation and improving production safety and stability.
Aluminum shredders are suitable for a variety of aluminum scrap materials:
Household aluminum scrap:
Aluminum cans, used aluminum pots and pans, aluminum door and window fragments.
Industrial aluminum scrap:
• Automotive aluminum alloy parts: engine blocks, wheels, radiators, etc.
• Aerospace aluminum alloy scrap.
• Aluminum housings for electronic appliances: such as computer cases, TV cases, and mobile phone charger cases.
Other aluminum scrap
• Aluminum profile scraps.
• Aluminum cables: discarded aluminum wire and cable.
A scrap aluminum shredding and recycling line is an automated production line specifically designed for the crushing, sorting, and recycling of scrap aluminum, efficiently converting it into reusable aluminum raw materials.
Components
• Feeding System: This includes a feeding conveyor, such as a belt conveyor or vibrating feeder, which uniformly and continuously transports the scrap aluminum raw materials to subsequent processing equipment. Some feeding systems are also equipped with a magnetic separation device to initially separate ferromagnetic materials from the scrap aluminum during the feeding process.
• Crushing System: The core equipment is a scrap aluminum shredder or crusher, such as a double-shaft shredder, jaw crusher, or hammer crusher. These crushes large scrap aluminum into small pieces or granules based on the size, hardness, and processing requirements of the scrap aluminum, facilitating subsequent sorting and processing.
• Sorting System:
◦ Magnetic Separation Equipment: This further separates residual ferromagnetic impurities from the scrap aluminum, improving its purity.
◦ Eddy current separators: Utilize the principle of electromagnetic induction to separate non-ferrous metals (such as copper and zinc) from non-metallic materials in shredded aluminum scrap. Non-ferrous metals generate eddy currents in an alternating magnetic field, which in turn are separated by the magnetic force.
◦ Gravity sorting equipment: Equipment such as shakers and airflow separators separate shredded aluminum scrap from other impurities based on density differences.
• Dust removal system: Consisting of dust collectors, fans, and ducting, it collects and processes dust and exhaust gases generated during the shredding and sorting processes, reducing environmental pollution and improving the working environment.
• Conveying system: Utilizing various conveyors, such as belt conveyors, screw conveyors, and bucket elevators, it transports and transfers materials between various processing equipment, ensuring continuous operation of the entire recycling line.
• Control system: Utilizing automated control technologies such as PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), it centrally controls and monitors the operation of equipment throughout the recycling line, enabling automated operation, fault diagnosis, and alarm functions, improving production efficiency and safety.
